How to do a practical design at your laundry room

1. Washing machine + laundry sink + wall cabinet

The washing machine counter is generally 90cm high and 70cm wide, and the laundry pool is 75-85cm high and more than 40cm wide.

The bottom of the wall cabinet is about 170cm above the ground to ensure that it is not easy to touch the head. If the distance between the wall cabinet and the table is more, you can add an open cabinet at the bottom of the wall cabinet, which is very practical for placing commonly used items.

Pay attention to the different depths of the upper and lower cabinets. The depth of the base cabinets is 60cm, and the depth of the wall cabinets is 30-35cm.



2. Washing machine + dryer + storage cabinet

The width of the laundry area in some families is not enough. After putting down the washing machine with a width of 70cm, there is not enough space for the laundry pool. The remaining space can be made into a storage cabinet.

In order to maximize the use of space, it is recommended to buy a washer and dryer, and do the up-drying and down-washing stack installation. The standard size of washers and dryers is 60cm*60cm, and the height is 85cm. After stacked up and down, the total width of 70cm and the total height of 175-180cm are reserved.

After determining the washing and drying machine, make the wall cabinet at the top and the high cabinet at the side. According to the total space width, the width of the high cabinet should be between 30-40cm. If the width is too narrow, it is not necessary to make a cabinet. The depth of the wall cabinet must be 60cm.

This design of the balcony is basically a dry area, coupled with the design of Windows and curtains, privacy is better, so here can also be used as a family leisure area, integration with the living area, the space is more transparent.


3. Washer + dryer + laundry sink + hanging cabinet

At present, the common design of laundry area is to stack washing and drying sets to meet the washing and drying needs of large clothes and bed sheets. There is a laundry pool next to it, which is convenient to do the pretreatment of clothes and clean small pieces. The top is a wall cabinet, providing storage function.

According to the normal width of the washing machine and laundry pool, the total width here is at least 110cm, and the control range is 40-80cm of the laundry pool. With the height design of washing and drying sets, the wall cabinet is generally 175-180cm above the ground, about 60cm in length and 30-35cm in depth. Laundry pool table top 75-85cm high, depth 60cm. If the overall width is sufficient, a row of high cabinets 30-40cm wide and 60cm deep can be built on the other side of the washing machine for storing large cleaning tools.

Some special living balcony space is relatively large, especially the width is enough, then you can choose the design of washing machine and dryer side by side, double position width reserved 135cm, plus the laundry pool width of more than 40cm, the total width is at least 175cm, on this basis for the arrangement and design of the top wall cabinet.
